Shipping is complimentary on US orders over $50, including marmalade and fragrance. Below $50, and for faster services, the rate is shown at checkout before you pay. Old California Botanicals processes orders in 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday. Delivery time then depends on the shipping method and the destination, and the estimate is shown at checkout. Yes, to some countries. Rates and available countries are shown at checkout when you enter your address. Customs duties, taxes and import fees are the recipient's responsibility and aren't included in the price or the shipping cost. Eau de parfum ships within the U.S. and Canada only. Email hello@oldcaliforniabotanicals.com as soon as you can, with your name, your order number and the correct address. If the order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to update it. Once a package is with the carrier, any change has to go through the carrier. Please check the address at checkout before you pay.

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, email hello@oldcaliforniabotanicals.com right away with your order number and a photo, and we'll look into it and make it right. Our returns and refunds policy, linked at the foot of every page, has the full details.

Old California Botanicals accepts return requests within 10 days of receiving your item. Email hello@oldcaliforniabotanicals.com first; returns sent without a request can't be accepted. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with proof of purchase. Food, personal-care items, flammable liquids, custom orders, sale items and gift cards can't be returned. If we accept your return, we'll email instructions and a return label.

Old California Botanicals makes 8 single-variety California citrus marmalades: Navel Orange, Valencia Orange, Minneola Tangelo, Mandarin, Eureka Lemon, Meyer Lemon, Melogold Grapefruit and Duncan Grapefruit. Each comes in an 11 oz (312 g) jar. The Medalists gift set pairs the Navel Orange and the Minneola Tangelo, two of our winners at the 2026 World Marmalade Awards.

Four Old California Botanicals marmalades earned 8 honors at the 2026 Dalemain World Marmalade Awards in Cumbria, England. Navel Orange won a Silver and a Bronze, Minneola Tangelo won 2 Bronze, Eureka Lemon won 2 Bronze, and Valencia Orange won 2 Merit awards. Old California Botanicals marmalade is made from California-grown citrus with pure cane sugar and water. Some varieties also include ingredients such as citrus pectin, citric acid or a juice concentrate, depending on the recipe. Old California Botanicals marmalade comes in sealed glass jars, and each jar carries a best-by date. Refrigerate after opening. The best-by date for each variety is also printed on its product page. Eureka Lemon Marmalade tastes like a lemon drop: golden, clean and smooth, made from summer-picked Eureka lemons from a Redlands grove planted in 1897. Meyer Lemon Marmalade is softer and floral. The Meyer is a lemon-mandarin cross, so it has a rounded flavor, a herbal note of citrus blossom, and a perfumed peel. Eureka won 2 Bronze in 2026.

Valencia Orange Marmalade is the sweetest and least bitter Old California Botanicals jar. The Valencias stay on the tree into summer, their acidity falls away, and the marmalade turns honeyed, with warm spice and a smooth finish. For a more classic bittersweet marmalade, try the Duncan Grapefruit, which is gently tannic and ends on a maraschino cherry note.

Old California Botanicals marmalade works as a glaze for roast poultry, pork, ham and vegetables, and on a cheese board with sharp or soft cheeses. Old California Botanicals Orange Blossom Eau de Parfum is a soliflore: it keeps to orange blossom alone instead of a pyramid of top, heart and base notes. It opens with a luminous, honeyed floral note, delicate and fresh. It is our lead scent, drawn from the Redlands groves in bloom each spring. The 0.25 oz roller is an easy way to try it.

Orange Blossom Noir is the darker version of our Orange Blossom Eau de Parfum. It opens with the same bright, honeyed citrus bloom, then settles onto a warm, resinous wood heart note, which makes it a unisex floral-wood scent. Orange Blossom stays with the flower alone. Noir comes in a 0.5 oz spray and a 1.5 oz decorative spray.

Old California Botanicals eau de parfums come in glass bottles: a 0.25 oz roller for a handbag or travel, a 0.5 oz spray, and a 1.5 oz decorative spray for gifting or display. Yes. The Old California Botanicals Eau de Parfum Flight has all four scents: Orange Blossom, Orange Blossom Noir, Big Red Rose and California Lavender. Choose the Discovery Collection, with four 0.5 oz bottles, or the Collector's Collection, with four 1.5 oz bottles. There are also three gift flights built around citrus, rose and lavender. Fragrance ships within the U.S. and Canada only.

The California Garden Candle is an 11 oz hand-poured soy candle with a cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance, set under a reusable glass cloche. It comes in Orange Blossom or California Rose, and it ships in a custom-fit insert inside a black and white gift box. Burn time and wick-care directions are on the product page. Old California Botanicals lip balm is made in Redlands. The base is beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil, with natural flavor and aroma from essential oils or extracts. The beeswax comes from local beekeepers our family has known for nearly 90 years. Each 4-pack holds four 0.15 oz tubes, and the full ingredient list for each flavor is on its product page.

Old California Botanicals makes lip balm in citrus, floral, fruit and spiced flavors. They include Navel Orange, Eureka Lemon, Pink Grapefruit, Key Lime, Ojai Pixie Tangerine, Lemon Bay, California Rose, Wild Violet, Lavender, Prickly Pear, Date Shake, Orange Peppermint, Orange Cinnamon, Orange Clove, Orange Pomegranate and Simply Beeswax. There are variety 4-packs if you can't choose.

The Seasonal Lip Balm Club is a one-year membership: four seasonal boxes over the year, each a 4-pack of lip balms chosen for the season. Members get complimentary shipping on each box, 10% off one-time lip balm orders during the year, and early access to limited releases. You can pause or cancel from the subscriber portal, and the Club can be sent as a gift.

Yes, by email. Send hello@oldcaliforniabotanicals.com a list with each recipient's name, address and items, plus any note you'd like included. We'll check stock and reply with how to complete the order. For one or two recipients, you can also place a separate order for each address on the website.

The Old California Botanicals Gift Box Sampler has one Gill Orange Soap, one jar of marmalade, a 4-pack of lip balm, two medium bottles of eau de parfum and one essential oil. Old California Botanicals is family-run in Redlands, California, the inland citrus country east of Los Angeles. We are a fifth-generation Redlands citrus family, growing and packing citrus since 1851. Our fruit comes from Redlands and nearby groves: Navel oranges from the Redlands slopes, Eureka lemons from a grove planted in 1897, and Meyer lemons from a small family operation near Victoria Avenue in Riverside.

John P. "JP" Beall founded Old California Botanicals in Redlands in 2020, and the business is still family-run. JP is a fifth-generation citrus grower and a board member of the San Bernardino County Farm Bureau. He won the 2025 California Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Discussion Meet and reached the national semifinals in 2026.

The Redlands orange groves bloom in spring. For a few weeks the blossom opens across the groves, and the air around Redlands turns sweet with orange blossom. That bloom is the inspiration for our Orange Blossom Eau de Parfum and the Orange Blossom Sourdough Starter, a wild-yeast culture harvested from our heritage grove.

The groves Old California Botanicals draws on are working family farms, and they aren't open for visits or tours. We share the grove online instead: harvest, bloom and the kitchen through the year on Instagram @oldcaliforniabotanicals, and in the stories on our blog, Out Standing in the Grove.
